Rob's London to Paris

As a Region the South West are delighted to support Cancer Research UK for another year. My team and I decided that we needed to go big and raise money for such a worthy charity. It was decided that extreme action was called for, so after months of debating on what and how we could raise money we decided to cycle from London to Paris in September. With my fellow team members consisting of Paul Hutson, Gary Lumsden and Mark Jones will take on this huge challenge. It is fair to say, with the exception of Mark, we are not cyclists. Three of us didn't even own a roadbike at the start of the year, so cycling the 435km from London to Paris will definately be a challenge. Each of us have our own reasons for taking on this task, and that is certainly not so that we can wear a pair of lycra shorts and t-shirt. We have committed to give our all to make sure we are ready, putting in the hours come rain or shine between now and September this year when we will undertake probably the most physical challenge of our lives.
