My Story
Thank you for visiting my Fundraising Page. The money I raise will help fund life-saving research and to bring forward the day when all cancers are cured.I am a private drum teacher and I am running a drumming showcase featuring all my students called 'Beat the drums to help fight Cancer'. The idea came from the loss of my dear mother in law and dear sister in law. I witnessed their long hard fight and the effect it had on all our family. My mother in law passed away nearly three years ago and my sister in law lost her fight in October 2018 after battling her illness for 18 years. The event is being held at The Civic Hall, Blackshots Lane, Grays, Essex. RM16 2JU
CAUSE
All Cancer Types
Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
