I'm taking on a Race for Life Pretty Muddy to raise money to beat cancer

I'm not someone who normally wants to be anywhere near mud, obstacle courses or running shoes, but for the first time in my life I've been hauling my arse off the sofa to do some exercise over the past six months, so I thought I should put all that excruciating work to good use.

1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please sponsor me now.
