I’m a Dryathlete, please support me. As most people know my Dad has cancer this year.

My Story

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. This January I’m taking on Dryathlon® and raising money for Cancer Research UK. I’ll be ditching the drink for all of January. Most people who know me will know my Dad has had cancer this year. We found out in July but with the wonderful people at the Christie hospital and all of our friends praying for my Dad he goes into have the cancer removed on Thursday so it's all looking good People will also know I like a drink or 5 so this will be my way of saying up yours cancer. If me doing this saves one more person then it will be worth it

Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
