I'm cycling more than 300 miles this September for Cancer Research UK
My Story
Thank you for visiting my Cancer Research UK Cycle 300 page. This September, before the end of the month, I will complete more than 300 miles on my bike to support Cancer Research UK. Like many others my family and friends have been touched by cancer. Close friends and relatives have lived with this disease. Sadly some have left us. The outlook for those living with cancer today is better than in the past because of new discoveries translated into better care. Progress is critically dependent upon research and this requires funding. I'll be swapping my usual occasional bike ride to work for a commitment to ride at least ten miles every day this month. Happily I'll do most of it in perhaps the most beautiful city in the UK. On the downside, summer in Scotland has definitely ended! Every penny raised in support will makes a real difference to vital cancer research. So please show your support with a donation to my page. Thank you. Simon
