My Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my fundraising page. On the 04 August 2019, Tim, Jack and I will be taking part in the Prudential ride London 19. Then on the 31 August 2019 I will be entering the Morden Pretty muddy 5km run. Then finally on the 29th September 2019 Tim and I will be running the Windsor half Marathon. All of the above we are doing to raise whatever we can to help Cancer research. In memory of those people close to us we have lost to this terrible disease, and also for those people close to us that are fighting this disease right now . Cancer is happening right now, which is why I’m fundraising right now for Cancer Research UK. There’s no time to lose! CAUSE
Lung cancer
Each year more than 43,500 people are diagnosed with lung cancer in the UK. We urgently need to drive progress so that more people survive their disease. Cancer Research UK is at the forefront in lung cancer research and is funding various projects to tackle the disease head on. This includes the TRACERx study, Cancer Research UK’s largest investment into lung cancer to date. This study has already transformed our understanding of how lung cancer evolves and is continuing to shed light on how to prevent, detect and treat the disease.
