Ride for Research 2019

My Story

Wilkinsons Farm Livery Yard Ride for Research 2019, supporting Cancer Research UK. On the 15th September 2019 we are going to host a Ride for Research event. What is Ride for Research? Ride for Research is an opportunity for horse riders across the country to jump into the saddle and take part in a sponsored horse ride in aid of Cancer Research UK. This will be in the form of a sponsored ride (or make a minimum donation of £20 if you prefer) around Henderson's, or the Farm Ride (for those that prefer a shorter traffic free route) to experience some of our beautiful countryside. The Henderson's Ride is approximately 10 miles and the Farm ride is approximately 2.5 miles and is all off road. We would like as much support as possible for this very worthwhile cause If you don't want to join the ride but would like to volunteer we also need marshals, escorts, raffle prizes and cake bakers.
