My Story
As I'm sure most of you are aware, last year I had a major cycling accident. I crushed the right side of my face, ended up with a plate and several screws. I really thought I had it bad.... then I seen the effects cancer patients suffer thru. my life is a dream come true compared to people suffering from forms of cancer like lung, brain, breast, prostate, skin or any other type. I have seen it's effects in my own family. my mother has had scares, my uncle Tommy survived lukemia and my young cousin Colette suffered and sadly passed on from an agressive form of cancer. my partner in crime and love of my life has also recently lost her aunt Lisa to this dreaded affliction. these people all have one thing in common, they are people with a love of life and people with so much to offer the world! I'm getting over my small fear of biking because people like Colette, Lisa and others have faced much bigger fears and people continue to do so. in donating here, you are helping to give people the chance to stare down their fear, their monster and we are helping to give people a fighting chance. I've set a total of £150. I want to see that smashed. realistically I'm looking to raise £1500 but let's start small! Come on WE CAN DO THIS!!!!!
