My Story

Thank you for visiting my Cancer Research UK Cycle 300 page. As many may know, my father was hit by a severe case late last year. A large cancerous lump in his stomach and also several bones effected by this unforgiving illness. It looked very bleak around Christmas of 2019 - but fast forward to today and without the extensive research and care, he would not be with us! He’s now walking more than he has done in years, really embracing the little things in life and fingers crossed, will even be behind the drum kit again within the next couple of months! (He’s certainly been practicing for it at home!) This September, before the end of the month, I will complete 300 miles on my bike for Cancer Research UK. Pedalling harder than ever to raise money for life-saving research and help bring forward the day when all cancers are cured. Every penny makes a huge difference to vital cancer research so please show your support with a donation to my page. My dad is my hero and if this can help give another family a few more years or longer with a loved one, then that a lone is all worth it.
