My Story
This year our team at EDHT have decided that we want to challenge ourselves and raise money for an amazing cause..... So on the evening of Saturday the 20th of September 2025, 10 members of our team will be setting off in to the night to walk a full marathon through London in aid of cancer research! We have chosen cancer research as it's a cause which has touched all of our lives in one way or another. Whether it be in our personal lives at home or our work lives and our wonderful patients and their loved ones ❤️ But a full marathon?? Well we wanted to make it a proper challenge. Something worth people donating to and something worth us putting real effort and dedication in to. It's not going to be easy. The organisers estimate that it will be between 9 and 14hrs to complete the full 26.3 miles through the night! But we all agree that if we can raise some money to go towards finding treatments for cancer, every step will be worth it.
