Every year 3 things are certain, taxes, Christmas happens, and I do dry January to raise money for Cancer Research. This is my 4th year of doing this and I genuinely love raising money for this charity that is so close to my heart. Last year I raised an amazing £510 which blew my mind. I lost my Dad to cancer back in August 2011 and I do this every year to play my part in getting rid of this horrid disease. Like previous years, I will be donating whatever I would have spent on alcohol to this campaign so a lot of my own money will be going into this too! Joining me this year will be my brother Scott Hardman as we try and raise as much as we can in our Dad's memory.

Cancer survival rates have doubled over the past 40 years. Consistent progress is being made but improvements to technology and ground-breaking work offer new opportunities to find different ways to prevent, diagnose and treat cancer and improve survival rates even further.
