My Story
I am taking part in this year's Race for Life for my mum Julia, who was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer in October 2019. The support and care that she has received since then has been amazing and I cannot be more grateful. I am raising money for Cancer Research to ensure that the support can continue for her not also everyone else who is going through the same. My dear Grandad sadly passed away in December 2014 after a long battle with lung cancer so this is also in memory of him. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime.
