My Story
Hi guys thank you for visiting my fundraising page. I’m doing this because I’m fed up of watching people suffer and losing their lives from this destructive and unrelenting disease, so I’m taking on a hike. Yes a hike, most of you probably think I’ve gone a bit doolaly but this is to help raise money for life-saving research into cancer. Every two minutes, someone in the UK is diagnosed with cancer. The money I raise will help support Cancer Research UK with their ground-breaking work to see more people surviving. Cancer Research UK are world leaders in finding new ways to prevent, diagnose and treat cancer and receive no government funding for their research. Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
