In memory of
Richard Walke
This year, I am going to part-take in some 'running' with my best friend Kerry in memory of Richard Walke; Kerry and Ella's father, and Pam's husband. For those who know me, I am partial to a good walk, but a run is pretty serious stuff. Especially when I'm not running for food. On June the 18th, I'm running for something much more worthy; that is to raise as much money possible to ensure that the odds of 1 in 2 people getting cancer becomes significantly less and the treatments of cancer become ever more effective thanks to research. So if you can help me do this, please donate whatever you are able to; Kerry and I would be ever so grateful! Here is part of Kerry's story: 'As many of you may know, I lost my amazing Dad, Richard to multiple cancers in August 2014. I promised myself that every year I'd try and do something to fundraise for a cancer related charity. The money raised really doesn't go to waste, every pound is used to help beat cancer sooner. I have decided to run the Race for Life again this year as once again it has fallen on Father's Day and it just seems fitting!'
