Quite frankly, I'm fed up with people suffering with this horrid illness. We need a cure.
My Story
For as long as I can remember my Nana has battled cancer. To this date, she has survived cancer 3 times and is currently facing her fourth battle - chemo starts next week. Her strength, courage and determination have always been, and continue to be, an inspiration for me. I know that she has also lost siblings to cancer, so it has truly impacted her life... but she's never let it stop her! She continues to battle, remembering those who have been lost. For that very reason, I want to be part of the battle to beat cancer sooner!! Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 10k to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime.
