My Story
Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 10k to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Most of you will know that I took part in my first Race for Life in 2007 and subsequently Team #RFC ( myself, Jenny Purdue and Sharon McAllan) completed our first Race for Life Marathon in 2016. This is a cause close to all our hearts. Since then we have taken on many different events but we remain loyal to the incredible experience and fundraiser that Race for Life is and are therefore taking part in the Maidstone 10k event. Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour.
