In memory of
Gabbie
This November, I’ll be entering the boxing ring and taking part in Ticketmaster’s Ultra White Collar Boxing to raise money for Stand Up to Cancer. Specifically raising awareness about Stomach Cancer, in memory of my best friend Gabbie, who had the biggest heart, bubbliest personality and a wicked sense of humour. Stomach cancer, or gastric cancer, is a fairly uncommon type of cancer. Around 7,000 people are diagnosed with it each year in the UK. It was especially rare for Gabbie to be diagnosed with it as she was only 25 and it is most likely to develop in males over 55 years old. As the early symptoms of stomach cancer are similar to those of many other conditions, the cancer is often advanced by the time it's diagnosed. It's therefore important to get any possible symptoms of stomach cancer checked by your GP as soon as possible. For more info please visit: https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/stomach-cancer/ The money I raise will help take breakthroughs in the lab and transform them into treatments and cures for cancer patients who need them right now, so please please PLEASE dig deep and sponsor me to don my boxing gloves and show cancer it’s payback time...

Stand Up to Cancer: LIFE-SAVING RESEARCH
100% of the money you raise goes towards speeding up life-saving research. Every day, scientists and researchers work tirelessly to beat cancer. But lab researchers will not get us there alone. Every penny raised helps speed up breakthroughs in the lab, transforming them into new tests and treatments for patients who need them. The research you fund will help us see 3 in 4 people in the UK survive their cancer by 2034.
