My Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my fundraising page. Cancer is happening right now, which is why I’m fundraising right now for Cancer Research UK. There’s no time to lose! Donate to my page today and help bring forward the day when all cancers are cured. Get ready to rally for a cause! 🎾🎉 Redland Green Squash Club will be battling it out from 6pm Friday 20 June, until 6pm Saturday 21 June 🙌 With the aim to raise £1440 for Cancer Research UK. Representing £1 for every 1 minute we are battling it out on court! Over the last 40 years, cancer survival in the UK has doubled. In the 1970s just 1 in 4 people survived their disease for 10 years or more. Today 2 in 4 survive. Cancer Research UK’s ambition is to accelerate progress and see 3 in 4 patients surviving the disease by 2034. How You Can Help 1. Registration Fee: We'd encourage a voluntary donation for participants to be £25 for adults and £20 for juniors. This will already be a significant contribution to the cause. Thank you for being part of this event! 2. Additional Donation: Where possible, we'd encourage you to consider donating more. Every extra penny will go directly towards supporting our cause. Whether it’s a small or large amount, your generosity will make a real difference. 3. Spread the Word: Share this opportunity with friends, family, and colleagues. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
