My Story
We are doing the race for life 5k at home. We know that cancer affects so many people's lives, and so we just want to do our part to help. We are doing this to support all of those that are affected by cancer but especially for one of our very close friends' mum, who is fighting cancer. She is such an amazing woman, would treat anyone like her own. She is an absolute inspiration, continuing day to day no matter how hard things get. Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
