My Story
In late April, after battling cancer for 10 months, my auntie sadly passed away at 55 years old. She fought bravely and never gave up. My auntie was known for her positivity, spiritual nature, and her zest for life. My family and I believed that this mentality kept her alive and fighting. To extend her life as much as possible, she signed up to any trial for cancer research that she was able to participate in. Her passion and commitment to these trials was irrefutable. She believed that even if it didn't work for her, it could help someone else in the future. I want to carry on my auntie's work by completing the Race for Life in aid of cancer research and raise money to commemorate her life. Let's give something back to my auntie, who always gave so much to us. Always in our hearts, forever and longer.
