St Albans 10k 2022

Sun 17 Jul 2022 - Sun 17 Jul 2022

My Story

Cancer continues to affect everyone. Megan, Keira and I, have all somewhat been impacted by the awful disease that is cancer; whether that is having lost someone close to us or experiencing someone going through the battle against cancer at the moment, we thought it would be a fitting challenge to try and raise funds and awareness in support of the ones we love and in memory of the ones we have lost. Summer 2022 will signify two years down the line since we learnt the devastating news that my beautiful Mum has gastroesophageal cancer and most devastatingly, it cannot be cured. However, we couldn’t be more proud of Mum who has been putting up quite the fight! Due to our experiences, we want to raise funds and bring about awareness to support the research and improve survival rates. We will be completing a 10k run on Sunday 17th July in St Albans and will upload the route and the tracking of events following the completion of this. Please help us in our challenge and we hugely appreciate the time you are taking to check out our page and are hugely grateful for any donations and your support. May the fight continue! Becca, Megan and Keira x

Help us carry out world-class research into the prevention, detection and treatment of more than 200 types of cancer.
