Rebecca's Race for Life

I am running for race for life for my sister Helen who beaten cancer and is in remission it was tough but she is so strong and such a fighter I’m so proud of her! I am also doing the race for life in the memory of my grandad and my uncle Jeff as they both had cancer and sadly passed away. It be 5 years in July my grandad past and he was my rock, the best and amazing grandad I could ask for! I miss him dearly more and more every day and this year I wanted to do the race for life and make him proud! I wish I could one last time to give him the biggest hug and have a slice of Swiss roll and cup of tea putting the worlds to right. My Great uncle Jeff passed away 3 years ago he always knew how to make you laugh and I do miss the old times where he would just constant make jokes make me laugh all the time he was a joker. He sadly lost his wife Muriel in 2013 to breast cancer too. Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 3k to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime.
