Myself and Lucy are going to be carrying out the Pretty Muddy Race for Life as we have recently had the news that our Mum has breast cancer. Fortunately we are in a very lucky position as the cancer has been caught very early on, but we know this wouldn’t be the case if Cancer Research didn’t exist. The care our mum has received so far has been wonderful and the doctors, nurses and consultants have been amazing. 1 in 2 people are diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime and we need to ensure that everyone gets the treatment that they deserve. Ladies go get that smear test and mammogram when the time comes because it might just save your life and only takes 5 minutes!
