My Story
For 3 years we watched the strongest woman in our lives battle cancer. She was brave, resilient and never stopped thinking about other people all while she was going through imense pain with her battle. Mum was given the all clear but a year later the cancer returned in a more aggressive form. We lost our amazing Mum to cancer in October last year. We are raising money to do what we can to stop this happening to other families. This event takes place the day before what would be Mum's 55th birthday so we're taking that as a sign! Mum has left behind lots of broken hearts but we will continue to fight against this horrible disease and emanate the strength that she showed every single day.

Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
