My Story
I’ve taken part in the race for life for years now and unfortunately each year there is someone else who I know who I want to honour. It’s sad to think about how many people who have faced this battle. Fortunately, there are those who have beaten cancer so there are positive outcomes but there are also those who we have lost to the disease, whom are terribly missed. I want to honour everyone who has either been through this battle or who is continuing to fight.

Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
