My Story
We lost my Granda to cancer in May 5 years ago. He was the greatest man in my life, and always will be. This year, I'm racing the 5k in the surrounding areas of exhibition park for him, and so many others that have lost the battle, as well as those who are continuing to fight, and the many lives and families that cancer continues to effect. I completed the Muddy 5k with my family in 2019, went sober for October 2019, and cycled 300 miles with my dad back in september 2020. It's great to finally get back out there, this time by myself, after a couple of tough years on all of us. We are never just fighting COVID. We have so much more at stake. Any donations would be massively appreciated for such an amazing cause, as cancer now affects 1 in 2 of us which is petrifying, so if you can give anything at all, please do. It makes a world of difference. Cancer Research UK needs vital funding to help those and their families affected by cancer.
