My Story
Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Pretty Muddy 5k on Saturday 27th July and the Race for Life 5k on Sunday 28th July to raise money and save lives. I am hoping that running the two events on consecutive days will get people sponsoring me :-) 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
