Rebecca's Race for Life
Stamford Pretty Muddy 5k 2019
Sat 1 Jun 2019 - Sat 1 Jun 2019
I'm taking on a Race for Life Pretty Muddy because I want to help others by supporting a charity close to my heart.
In memory of
Auntie June
I am really excited to be taking part in the Race for Life Pretty Muddy 5K this year. One of my News Years resolutions this year was to help others by doing something to support a charity and this one really is close to my heart. I’ll be completing the race with 3 amazing friends who will all be smashing it right alongside me. Anyone that knows me knows that running is not my speciality so I will undoubtedly be completing it by leaping, pirouetting and going for that ‘gentle jog’ at times. I am taking part in this for many reasons. I will be running in memory of a wonderful, kind, funny, caring lady who I was and still am honoured to have met through my Husband’s family. She also became ‘my Auntie June’ and I feel very lucky to have so many wonderful memories of her. I will also be running for my amazing Grandy, who has always been another wonderful, passionate and determined lady in my life and kicked the big C’s butt! And I cannot forget those within my family and close to me, who are always remembered and those who have come through this terrible disease fighting, kicking and being awesome! Anything you can give or help with would be greatly appreciated!! Even if it’s the odd bit of advice on how to actually finish the race eek. Love Becca xxx
