Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 5k to raise money and save lives. I don't think that I know anyone who hasn't been affected by cancer in some way. I lost one of the most influential and important people in my life to this horrendous disease almost 6 years ago. If I can raise some money to help stop this awful illness then I will do whatever I can. Anyone who knows me will know that I hate any form of exercise so this is a way for me to push myself and raise money for a good cause. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime.
