My Story
My Nain was a wonderful woman. Strict when growing up but as an adult I discovered it was simply her sense of humour. She was creative and did cross stitch as a hobby and favours for friends. Most of all, she was a listener, and a great one. She listened to my worries and problems and was happy to put the world to right for hours on the phone. Seeing cancer take away her energy and seeing her struggle will always stay with me. Nobody should suffer from this illness. Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 5k to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please sponsor me now.
