Shine Night Walk Cambridge 10k 2022
Sat 15 Oct 2022 - Sat 15 Oct 2022
My Mum (Sylvia) died of mesothelioma in April 2016. Mesothelioma is a cancer of the lining of the lungs which is often diagnosed late and has a poor prognosis, Mum only lived for 6 months after she was told what was wrong with her. Cancer Research UK is investigating a number of possible options for diagnosing and treating mesothelioma more effectively, as well as working to identify the best way to support people with this very difficult diagnosis. I am completing the Shine Night Walk in Sylvia's memory- she loved walking. She also approved of science and would be pleased that any money I raise will go towards research that answers questions about how to improve care and treatment for people with cancer. Thank you for any contribution that you can make
