My Story
This year I will be completing the Shine Night Walk in memory of my wonderful Mum, who we lost 9 years ago. All of us will be touched by this terrible disease at some point in our lives, and we must never stop fighting for more treatments, and more moments with our loved ones. What I lack in training and preparation- I’m hoping I can make up for in sheer determination, as I walk in her memory. Each year Cancer Research UK’s scientists get closer to beating cancer, and they’ve helped double survival rates in the last 40 years. But we can’t stop there. Only with our continued support can they turn this research into breakthroughs that save millions of lives.
