I have taken part in past events for ‘Race for Life’ starting at a young age in support of my Auntie Cal who is a survivor of Breast Cancer. Many of my wider family members and close friends have been affected by this cruel disease. I have supported other Cancer Charities; however, I feel passionate about taking part in the ‘Race for Life’ this year in memory of those who have fought Cancer and continue to do so. I am particularly thinking of my Auntie Cal who fought the battle of Breast Cancer 15 years ago this year but has recently been diagnosed with Secondary Cancer of the spine. She fought this awful disease before and I know she will fight again as she is such a strong lady who has supported others through their journey as well as battling Cancer herself. The fight still goes on for my Auntie but the determination, love and support conquers all for my Auntie and for all those who have and continue to fight Cancer. I hope to raise as much as possible for this amazing and worthy cause for all those who have fought and continue to battle Cancer. With the determination, love and support we can all do this for those whom we love.
