I never got chance to meet my gran, who got taken by this awful devastating disease at the age of 30
Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life Pretty Muddy to raise money and save lives. I've known so many people affected by this horrid disease that devastates lives. The pain, the torment, the anguish of those both suffering the disease and supporting those with the disease is heartbreaking. Cancer is not biased... it attacks people of all ages, women, men, animals. I am hoping to see a cure in my lifetime...or at least in my children's. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime.
