My Story
Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. This August, I’m jogging 31 miles in the month to help beat cancer. 1 in 2 of us will get cancer in our lifetime. I currently know 3 people going through their own cancer battles and more survivors on top of that. The reality is I will know more people who may not have been diagnosed yet, or have but are ready to talk about it yet. Running 31 miles in August is a challenge for me (exercise and I have not been talking much recently) and my small way of showing my support.
CAUSE
All Cancer Types
Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
