Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 10k to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s ground breaking work, so please sponsor me now. As you may be aware I have a milestone birthday in December! So I wanted to do one final charity run before I bin the trainers! So far in my 50's I have ran two marathons (Rome and Edinburgh) and three 10k's (Aberdeen) raising funds for learning disability charities. So I thought I would bow out with one final run for the charity that works in conjunction with Waves Radio in Peterhead where I currently work as a presenter. This will be tough for me as I am not a "natural" runner, so your support would be immense and of course raising much needed funds for this brilliant charity. Thanks for your support.
