My Story
In October 2011, I was diagnosed with leukaemia. I had just started my last year of school and was gearing up for A Levels and university applications. During this hectic / exciting / buzz fuelled time, I started to fall ill. What started out as seemingly just a ‘common cold’ quickly turned into several trips to the GP. I was put on multiple courses of antibiotics, and eventually after several follow ups, it was discovered that I had Chronic Myeloid Leukaemia. Thanks to advancements in Cancer Treament, I am able to continue life as normal as possible due to ongoing treatment.
