My Story
My name is Daniel Chadwick and I have chosen to run the great south run this year to help raise as much money as I can for cancer research uk and I have chosen to raise money for brain cancer because a few years ago my uncle sadly passed away because of a brain tumour and we didn’t know he has one until it was too late to cure him of it, so I am running the great south run in memory of him to make him proud that I’m doing this so that other families don’t have to through this and we will be one step closer to helping curing cancer and kicking cancers ass, I'm doing this for such a great cause and to make my family and uncle proud of me for doing this to help cure cancer.

CAUSE
Brain cancers
Each year in the UK, more than 12,288 people are diagnosed with tumours that start in the brain or elsewhere in the central nervous system. That’s 35 people every single day. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat brain cancer.
