Having both been surrounded by strong people that have battled cancer and overcome it, this ride is for all of them.

My Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our fundraising page. Cancer doesn’t choose a particular type of person, it can happen to anyone. Both Rahul and I have been there first hand when our closest loved ones have gone through rigorous test after test and then finally in the penultimate doctors appointment given news that your diagnosed with the C word. It’s like the world shifts a little and your norm no longer exits because now it’s a fight and you hang on to all the hope in the world. Our loved ones are examples of what strength and positivity can do. They’ve gone through their battles with cancer and come out stronger on the other side. Even my 86 year old gran who is diagnosed with terminal liver cancer lives each day with the biggest smile on her face! Without charities like Cancer Research UK, perhaps the endings might not have been the same. So to help raise awareness and money, we are both taking part in a challenging bike ride over all the London Bridges on 19th August 2018. Please give generously and a BIG THANK YOU for all the support! Xx

CAUSE

All Cancer Types

Our work has helped double cancer survival in the UK in the last 50 years. Despite this incredible progress, there’s more to be done. Nearly 1 in 2 of us will get cancer in our lifetime. Help us carry out world-class research into the prevention, detection and treatment of more than 200 types of cancer.
