My Story
On 14th October I will be running the Royal Parks Half Marathon for Cancer Research UK in memory of my granddad, Robert John Pinder, who passed away earlier this year. I ask that you donate any amount, however small, for this amazing charity that exists in large part through our donations to beat cancer, of which there are nearly 990 new cases per day in the UK. I have pledged to raise a minimum of £400 and hope to beat my half marathon personal best (fingers, toes, arms and legs crossed!) Cancer is happening right now, which is why I’m raising money right now for Cancer Research UK. There’s no time to lose!
