My Story

As many of you know I have the most incredible job. Not only is it a fast past logistical jigsaw with an amazing team of staff, suppliers, and supporters, but I get to work for a cause I truly believe in. Cancer Research UK saves lives. Full stop. They are the only charity dedicated to fighting over 200 different types of cancer. They have played a part in developing 8 out of 10 of the world's top cancer drugs. They have the expertise, the scientists, the doctors, the nurses, and the plan to bring forward the day when all cancers are cured. They just need the funds. Right now though, they really do need our help. So that's why I’m MARCHing all over cancer this month. 10,000 steps a day, come rain or shine. Every £ really does count. So you can't buy your coffee on your commute to work right now, then buy some clever folk some plastic microscope slides, or fund the CRUK online helpline for half an hour for those who need information about their or a loved one's cancer. We can't do much right now, but together this March we can do something great.

CAUSE

All Cancer Types

Our work has helped double cancer survival in the UK in the last 50 years. Despite this incredible progress, there’s more to be done. Nearly 1 in 2 of us will get cancer in our lifetime. Help us carry out world-class research into the prevention, detection and treatment of more than 200 types of cancer.
