My Story
Our names are Matilda and Pippa Ayers, we are 5 & 7 years old. We have asked our Mum if we can take part in the race for life because we would like to help and raise money for people that are poorly like our Grandad. We love our Grandad so much, and we want to show him how proud of him we are, and to keep fighting Cancer. Since our Grandad became poorly at Christmas, we don't get to see him as much as we used to, and we miss him so, so much! We don't really understand what cancer is/does, but we know that it is making our Grandad very poorly and he has lost all his hair. We know that helping to raise money for cancer can make people better. Our Auntie Joanne was very poorly because she had cancer 3 years ago, and now she is better and happy again. We are so happy she is better and we love her lots. We have not ran very far in past and we have 19 days to train, Mummy is going to take us out running every other day. Then we won't get too tired at our race for Grandad. Please, please sponsor us! We will be so, so, so happy! We want to help other people who are poorly like our Grandad and Auntie Joanne! All our love, Matilda & Pippa
