My Story
After my mum passing when I was just 12 years old from the horrible cancer she had. my mum had breast cancer and fought that off after having a breast removed, she ended up in remission where everyone was relieved that she fought cancer. A while later it came back with a vengeance and she passed away at a very young age in May 1997 when I was just 12 years old. She will always be the person I look upto. After having my little boy 13th June 2017 I need a focus to get training and lose some weight I have gained so I thought I would sign up to do this and raise money in memory of my mum at the same time. Any amount you have will help to raise money for cancer research I better start training...... Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life Pretty Muddy to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime.
