We are taking part in Race for Life in memory of Jemma
My Story
Cancer has touched us all at some point, we all know someone who has suffered or sadly lost their lives. We lost our beautiful brave friend Jemma aged only 40 in July 2019 just 6 days after doing the Race for Life. She has left a huge hole in our lives and we want to run this race in her memory. Some days she was so poorly yet she always had a smile and a joke, she was brave strong and determined even towards the end. Jemma done the race for life after having chemo back in 2016 and 2017 she was always spreading awareness and raising money selling tshirts for breast cancer.This year myself Holly and Jemma’s niece Roxy will be running without her by our side shouting and cheering, but we know she will be with us X

Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
