Rachel's Race for Life

My Story

2020 was effected by more than the pandemic for some of my family. Luckily my sister Clare’s cancer story is a positive one of successful treatments and recovery. As much as Clare is the inspiration for me, paul, mum and Clare and her family all taking part in race for life, we are not just doing it for Clare. We’ll complete it for Paul’s Dad and everyone we know who has been or is effected by cancer ❤️ Other Friends and family are taking part with us too, as Clare’s diagnosis has reminded us all that cancer is happening right now, to people and families all over the world. None of us are runners and some of our team will find it hard with current health and fitness levels, so this is a good challenge for us all to raise money and support each other. Money raised goes toward improving existing treatments as well as finding cures and preventatives such as the HPV vaccine, that without donations like this and research, would never of been possible.
