Cancer has deprived me of the chance to meet my paternal Grandmother, caused my Maternal Grandfather a lot of suffering and had a hand in the loss of my husbands Grandfather. This is some of how Cancer has affected me, but I have other family members as well as friends who have been affected and it is for all of these people I am taking part in race for life. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime.
