My Story
Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life Pretty Muddy to raise money and save lives. For those of you that know me you will know I don't run, I don't do fitness, and this will be a massive challenge, but a challenge worth while. It's rife, it's all around us. I see it every shift I work, I see people fighting and winning, I see people fighting and losing. I lost my darling nan a year ago to a very short but strong fight, I lost my other nan many years ago to the same disease. I have friends that have been through it and friends that are going through it. There has to be light at the end of the tunnel at some point so by doing this we can raise money and hope and believe in a cure or at least more treatment / management options. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please sponsor me now. Donating through this page is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with Cancer Research UK.
