I'm taking part in Race for Life. My motivation is those around me who have and are fighting cancer.
In memory of
Granddad
Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 10k to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please sponsor me now. Donating through this page is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with Cancer Research UK. My story for taking part is my Granddad after a long battle with cancer he passed away from it. He fought for his battle and was still being active weeks before he passed away. It isn't the only motivation for taking part as I know many people who have passed away or are fighting cancer daily. They have been close family and friends and I still know people who are fighting cancer. This is why I am taking part, Let's beat this awful disease.
