Rachel's Race for Life
Brighton 5k 2019
Sun 30 Jun 2019 - Sun 30 Jun 2019
I was diagnosed with breast cancer 2 years ago. It took all my strength to keep things together for my family. My cancer was caught early and I'm all clear now, but because I have a genetic predisposition I am having more surgery in July. I'm racing on 30th June for everyone affected by cancer: patients, husbands, wives, parents, friends and family. I'm racing with my brother and sister who have supported me all along the way. They can both run faster than me, but I bet they'll let me win! Please donate what you can. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please sponsor me now.
