I'm taking part in Race for Life in memory of my fantastic Mum. I want to help others win their battle against cancer.

My Story
Cancer affects so many people and their families and friends. I am taking part in the race with my sister Natalie in memory of our fantastic Mum. Mum bravely battled a stage 4 brain tumour for nearly 3 years and passed away in October last year. We all miss Mum so much - we miss the fun and laughter we shared together. During her illness, Mum was positive, brave and selfless and a real inspiration to others. I feel so lucky she was my Mum.

Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
